While the food was very good, the service was absolutely terrible. We went two times, and both times there were problems. One time they messed up the order, got certain receipts mixed up, and were very slow. The second time, two out of three meals came in about 30 minutes with us being the only people there, and the last one coming 20 minutes after the other two! If you are looking for good food, you could try this place out, but be warned, you will probably have to wait a very long time, with several mistakes as well.
I went to this restaurant 3 times during my stay in osoyoos. The first time I waited a long time to be awknowledged the drinks took a long time to come. I ordered a vodka soda with cran and was brought a vodka soda with Clamato. They apologized and remade it. I had to call her over every time I was ready to order. Also asked waitress for something she didnt understand she did other things and got her coworker to come ask what I wanted....my second visit wasnt very impressive either same problems having to call the waitress over. My third visit was the worst...they were out of everything me and daughter wanted to order. I ordered a meal that had to be sent back twice...in frustration I said dont worry it about it was the wrong the second time.
Horrible service! And food was overcooked! Made reservations for a Monday night for a birthday. There were only two other tables there at the time. It took forever to get our drinks, longer to order food, and even longer to get the food. When food started to arrive, one plate at a time sporadically (there were seven of us and 3 of us basically had the same order except for the sauce on the pasta) it arrived 1.5 hrs later and was the wrong orders and burnt! We actually walked out. Paid for our drinks and kids meals (which were also a joke) and refused to pay for overpriced overcooked food. And I have NEVER walked out before at any restaurant. Wont be going back!
This is an excellent place to dine. We really enjoyed the view of the lake. Our waitress was very professional and prompt. The food preparation and taste was tops. It was a great evening.
I am not one to write reviews, but i really need to share my experience with this restaurant. I took family and friends for dinner and have been in this restaurant 2 years ago and had pretty good food and service. This visit was the exact opposite, first, waitress was horrible, could not get instructions clear without repeating, second for what the food was average in quality at best. I paid 175.00 for basically 2 appies, 4 meals, and each a drink, which included a 29.00 dollar bottle of wine. When meals came 2 where average, 2 where in my view where below average. When we brought it to the waitresses attention, it was discarded quickly and no solution was offered. So my experience was way below average and i do not recommend dinning here.
