How this place can charge $165 a night is beyond me. Yes the staff is pleasant, but our room was barely clean. Floors were filthy. We stayed there 2 nights unfortunately and the same clump of hair behind the bathroom door (which was there from previous), was still there when we left. Service does not include making beds up in the morning, all they did was give us new towels and toilet paper. Shower didn't work right, water trickled out of it. We had ants in the kitchen area and then on the last morning found them in the bed. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky since one of the other guests had bedbugs in their room. No other vacancies in the whole town or I would have left right away! This place isn't worth spending more than 50 bucks on!
Well I found bed bugs in my room. And mites. I'm not very happy about this it's 11:30 pm right now so I'm kinda screwed staying here. But I hope this is an isolated incident. But I had over 200+ bites The owner however did attempt to help me the morning after. And did attempt to rectify the situation. She refunded my money. And threw away the couch. But seriously bed bugs suck.
I like the rooms. For the price it can't be beat. Full working kitchen and a separate room for the kids. I've been coming back for 3 years now
Quiet family spot. Great beach. 3 bbq's to use. Kitchenette. We have been here past 3 yrs. Will be back!
It was exactly as expected. The location is great. The Beach front suite was awesome. We had a back patio that overlooked the lake/Beach. Having a fully stocked kitchen with kitchenware, coffee maker, toaster, stove, oven, apartment sized fridge/freezer was great. Would be great for a couple families staying together having 2 suites upstairs & 2 downstairs. Definitely will be coming back!
