Don't trust this place! They say pet friendly, but its at their discretion. I booked a room a month in advance and clearly stated I would have my dog with us. They confirmed the booking. After driving 5 hours with my 2 small children, we went to check in, and they said we could not stay there because our dog was too big (60 lbs), but they never asked about the size of our dog upon booking! The lady there was rude and dismissive. My children were devastated, and we were left without a place to stay. We had to get back in the truck and drive to Penticton before we found a vacancy! It was a terrible experience, so I wanted to warn dog owners that this hotel is not as pet friendly as they say in the summer.
Definitely one of the nicer places I've stayed at this summer! Unfortunately it was only for one night but I'll be back next summer!
Terrible place we discovered hundreds of ants in the kitchen area. We immediately reported it and requested a room change. I was told they would come and look but when the owner came he accused us of spilling wine and suggested it was our fault. We hadn't spilt wine! They did change the room but then told me it wasnt fair and suggested I pay extra to clean the ant room we had only been in for an hour. We paid cash thankfully or I am certain we would have been charged extra. After they reluctantly gave me the new room key I was told to please not open any food or drink as it could attrack more ants and nothing would be done.
Nice room, comfortable bed, wonderful court yard with big pool and wading pool for the little ones. Lots of patio tables and chairs for family meals. Good value for the area.
Mediocre at best. There are beds and a bathroom. The furniture, the appliances and the room in general manage to do what is necessary, but they certainly are not luxurious. It's interesting that the bathroom vent leads into the kitchen, almost directly into the cupboard into which the kitchen hood fan vents (but not quite). It is by pure luck I am sure that there is a vent from that cupboard to somewhere(?).... Perhaps they could arrange to hook those things together.They appear to be working on a tight budget and it shows.If everywhere else is booked, this place will do...
