The new buffet table is really nice to see. It's a good buffet with all the regular dishes done in the usual way, except was nice and hot now. The place is usually well kept and the food is replenished fast. For a buffet it's good. Better than other local buffet options IMO.
It was OK. We had the buffet and the food was hot but I didn't go back for more. The sweet and sour pork was dry. Chicken wings and deep fried prawns were good. Chow mein was mushy. Ginger beef was good and veggies were pretty good. Just a very small selection. They had a small section for kids with beef teriyaki and fries. They did provide my daughter with a plastic plate and cup but then the waitress came out after we were done and told my daughter she could have ice cream (though she already had dessert). Wouldn't go back.
Oh man. Super nice staff. I wish I could say the same of the food. The buffet was missing about a third to half of its capacity, and most of what was there seemed to come either from a deep fryer or the freezer. Food was not restocked, and it was clear that what was there had been there for a while. Desserts were mostly instant pudding mixes, and burnt coconut tarts. Its rare for me to say I regret going out for dinner, but.., oiy. I regret it. Big time.
