Parking a larger unit is tricky for an inexperienced driver. Sites are a fair size. The beach is small, best to drive to one of the larger public beaches.
Stayed here last two weeks in Sept. Very disappointed pool and hot tub were not open. Also the fitness room is for owners only. Not impressed. Wifi does not work unless you sit right in front of the office.
It is misleading that there is a view 9f the lake. Sites are very tightly wedged together. The facility is nice but very crowded. Wi Fi doesn't work unless you're in front of the office. Very expensive! Not worth it! Wont return! Not relaxing!
Pretty good. Owner occupied with a spattering of overnight spots. Right beside the lake.
Just came back from a weekend at Waltons. The facilities are nice and its very well kept. I will let you know that the mojority of the resort is occupied by owners and it feels as though you walked into someones territory ! The kids.... oh the kids ! Theres so many kids running wild Ive never seen anything like it. The first night there were dozens of kids ranging in ages as young as 3/4 years old just out yelling and screaming all over the place - this went on for many hours. Good thing my kids slept through it. That went on well past 9:30. The next night same thing about 20 + of the kids were hanging out around the office just screaming and the parents ... well ...they have check out ! By the third night it quieted down and make for a better night. Im all for kids and parents having their fun but this was nuts !! So if you plan on staying or buying keep in mind its a resort for the loudest voice. Having said that Mary is fantastic and was a pleasure to communicate with. I just didnt see any regulation to the kids must remain supervised rule ;)
